Privacy Policy

1. Who I am

This website is the portfolio of Vartix Rivar, an independent digital designer and Framer developer based in New York, USA. In this policy, “I”, “me” and “my” refer to me as the person responsible for this site and for any personal information you share through it.

I keep this simple. I only collect what I need to reply to you, run my projects and understand how the site is used. I never sell your data.

2. Information I collect

Information you give me

When you use the contact form or email me, I receive the details you choose to share:

• Your name and email address

• Your company or brand name, if you add it

• Anything you write about your project, budget or timeline

• Files, links or references you send during a conversation

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, basic technical data is processed so pages load correctly and stay secure. This can include your browser type, device, approximate region, the pages you view and the time of your visit. Site analytics are privacy friendly and are used only in aggregate, to see which pages are useful.

3. How I use your information

• To reply to your message and discuss a possible project

• To prepare proposals, quotes and agreements

• To deliver the work, send updates and handle invoices

• To keep the website secure and working well

• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

I will not add you to a newsletter or send marketing emails unless you clearly ask me to.

4. Legal basis

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, I rely on the following grounds: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract once we work together, my legitimate interest in running and improving this site, and complying with the law. Where consent is needed, I will ask for it first and you can withdraw it at any time.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Any analytics are cookieless and anonymous, so they do not identify you personally. Some strictly necessary storage may be used by the hosting platform to deliver pages and keep forms working.

6. Who I share it with

I only share information with trusted services that help me run my studio, and only as much as they need:

• Website hosting and forms: Framer, which hosts this site and processes contact form submissions

• Email and file sharing: the providers I use to reply to you and exchange project files

• Payments and accounting: invoicing tools, payment processors and my accountant, once we work together

I may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect my rights or the safety of others.

7. International transfers

Some of the services above store data outside your country, including in the United States. When that happens, I use providers that offer recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

8. How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. Client records, contracts and invoices are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to 7 years. After that, the information is deleted or anonymised.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask me to:

• Show you the personal information I hold about you

• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date

• Delete your information when I no longer need it

• Limit or object to how I use it

• Send your data to you or another provider in a portable format

To make a request, email me. I will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

I use reputable tools, strong passwords and two-factor authentication to protect your information. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to keep it safe.

11. Children

This website and my services are meant for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, I will make that clear on the site.
